Why don’t you accept insurance?

The reality is insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis even when it is not necessary and request personal health information beyond what I believe is justified. They also reimburse mental health practitioners with very low rates and sometimes do not reimburse practitioners for services rendered. I want to provide you with the best possible care, staying client-centered while honoring my capacity to do this work.
