approach
Engaging in healing through a liberatory and embodied practice.
Through a collaborative therapeutic process, we work together to explore your emotional landscape, experiences, family and community dynamics, social and economic systems that impact this, and identify practices that support your embodied adaptation and healing. Together, we hold space for intentional change that grows our “capacity to embody the liberated and just worlds we long for.”
I consider my role as a therapist to be a witness + collaborator co-conspiring in your journey in healing + liberation. My approach is relational, rooted in healing justice, and is trauma-oppression informed. I engage my work grounded in my identities as a Black queer, non-binary femme and view intersectionality as foundational for therapeutic exploration. My work is deeply committed to centering voices of those often forced to the margins of society (e.g., Black, Brown + Indigenous folx, LGBTQIA +, trans, gender-expansive people, immigrants + undocumented folx, neurodistinct folx, plus-size/fat, sex workers, kinky + sex-positive folx, people in various relationship structures, etc.). We honor all of your parts, those with power, shame, guilt, + vulnerability, and co-conspire schemes for you to give up shrinking and TAKE UP SPACE.
In recognizing the connection between individual and systemic trauma, somatic work allows us to incorporate a body-based approach to widening the range of sensations and emotions we are more able to feel and be present with. Working through the body as the holder of ancestral resilience and an inherent capacity for healing. We create pathways to wholeness and connection when we engage in healing through a liberatory and embodied practice. Supporting clients in cultivating this life force and practices that enliven and pleasure, create openness, and nourish connection to their aliveness is where we’ll root in to together. Accessing art, creativity, as resource to healing, liberation + collective care are just some of the ways we’ll practice disruption in the western tradition of therapy.
Clients often describe my style as cool, curious, and direct. They appreciate sharing moments of laughter + honesty, my ability to “keep it real,” the ways abolitionist politics lived out in our space, and my efforts to disrupt hierarchy and power within the therapeutic relationship.

What happens next?
Solidarity + justice pricing
I am building Radical Healing Lab on a foundation committed to embodying anti-capitalist collectivism, generosity, reciprocity, + solidarity economics. We offer sliding scale low-cost options for Black, Brown, and Indigenous folx, especially those who are unemployed, underemployed, and impacted by anti-Blackness. We are a fully private/self-pay, out-of-network, mutual aid accepting practice (meaning we are not paneled with insurance companies). We are continually thinking of ways to create new systems of collective care and support that generate new pathways of access to mental health practitioners.
Radical Therapy Fund
Since 2020, we have created the Radical Therapy Fund as a community care initiative to subsidize services + support for Black LGBTQ+ community members. We’re accepting donations to support community healing+liberation, drop some coins here:
